Give the chat room a Christmas mood
It hangs a garland at the top and puts a Santa hat in front of each person's nickname. The decorations don't block clicks.
Merry Christmas greeting
Type Merry Christmas in the chat (without the space or 🎄 also works), and a 🎄 is added next to the message and gifts rain down in the chat for a moment.
The gift effect shows at most once every 8 seconds. If your device has reduce motion (animations off) turned on, gifts don't fall but appear and disappear in place, and the garland doesn't sway.
How to use
Use the 🎄 button in the + tools to the left of the input box to turn the decorations on or off on your screen. Your choice is saved in this browser and doesn't affect other people's screens.
If you also want falling snow, use the Snowy Chat Room plugin as well.
