Here's what a chat room looks like
We recreated the default skin and animated it feature by feature. When a scene ends it moves on to the next; click a title to watch that scene again. The conversation is only an example.
Paste the install code from Manage where you want the chat room to appear. The script loads asynchronously so your page isn't slowed down, and it works even if a SPA adds the tag later.

- Pass your site members' nickname, ID, level and admin status straight to the chat room. Code for Gnuboard, XE, Rhymix and WordPress is included.
- Permissions
- Four levels: guest, member, moderator and admin. Restrict features like entering, chatting and whispering by permission, level or experience (XP).
- Spam and abuse
- Word filters, reports, mutes and IP bans are built in, and you can look up who said what in the chat logs.
- Plugins
- Turn on plugins like YouTube watch-together or rock-paper-scissors from the admin page.
- Developer API
- Receive chat room events or add menus with JavaScript, and send data to chat rooms with the server API.
- Channel chat rooms
- On uchat.ch, a chat room opens as soon as you pick a name, with no sign-up. It's handy for rooms you only need briefly.
Free and paid
The basics of opening and running a chat room are free. If you need more moderation tools, you can buy a paid period for each chat room. See Pricing for prices.

The basic features are free. You can create a chat room, install it, and use everything you need to run it, such as permissions, notices, and filters, at no cost.
Features such as pinned notices, automatic notices, polls, analytics, advanced settings, running several plugins at once, and keeping chat history for 180 days are available on a paid plan (marked PRO on the Manage page). See Pricing for the differences, and ask about paid plans on the contact board.
How many chat rooms can I create?
There is no limit on the number of chat rooms you can create. However, chat rooms that interfere with running the service may be blocked.
How many people can join one chat room?
Each plan sets a limit on how many people can be connected at the same time. When a chat room is full, the message "이용자가 가득 찬 채팅입니다." (This chat is full) appears. Moderators and above can enter regardless of the limit.
Chat load depends on both the number of people and how much they talk. If you expect a large crowd, such as for a big event, let us know in advance on the contact board.
Can I use it without signing up?
On uchat.ch, a channel chat room is created as soon as you pick a name, with no sign-up. The first person to enter becomes the admin, and if you set a password in the admin menu, the chat room stays for 14 days even after everyone leaves.

Basic features are free, and there's no limit on how many chat rooms you can create.
