Make admin messages stand out like a notice
Messages sent by moderators and above are highlighted like a notice in the message list. Highlighted messages have wider padding and, by default, show only the text without the nickname.
When an admin message gets pushed off the screen by other messages, it's pinned to the pinned notice area for a while.
How it works
- Admin messages that were already there before you joined are highlighted too, and pinned when they're pushed off the screen.
- The pin shows in the same area as pinned notices and polls, so they don't cover each other.
- Each admin message is pinned only once, and a newly pinned message replaces the previous pin.
- If you scroll up and the pinned message comes back into view, the pin disappears right away.
- Each participant can close the pin on their own screen with the × button.
- To see it stacked with pinned notices, turn on Stack pinned notices in the Skin settings of the admin page.
Settings
- Background color / Text color — A hex color like
#2563eb. Leave empty for white text on a blue background. - Show nickname — Hide by default. Whispers always show the nickname.
- Pin to the top for a while when it scrolls off — On by default.
- Pin time (seconds) — 1 to 60 seconds, 10 seconds by default.
- Highlight messages from — Moderators and above (default) or Admins only.
